Communication Strategy 2026-27
MAYPOLE FC – COMMUNICATION STRATEGY 2026-27 (effective from 1st August 2026 – 31st July 2027)
Aim: To develop a more effective communication strategy that improves engagement with members, increases participation in club activities, enhances record keeping and supports the sustainable growth of Maypole FC.
Implementation: In August, we circulated our 2026-27 calendar to all managers/coaches. This will include key dates, meetings, events and other activities. We hope this will provide clear guidance and allow for planning in advance for all our families. Our calendar will be accompanied by bespoke monthly newsletters for coaches and parents/carers with key information and dates. As well as this, we are introducing specific lines of communication with our LT and committee members overseeing key areas.
Team Fee will now be used to send reminders and key information to parents and coaches. When information is sent out, individuals will receive a Team Fee notification and email. Any questions regarding pitch allocations, ref requests, policy changes, safeguarding from managers/coaches must be directed towards the relevant committee member.
General enquiries will continue to go to info@maypolefootballclub.co.uk or directly to a committee member.
Safeguarding concerns from parents/carers should be reported via email to cwo@maypolefootballclub.co.uk in the first instance. A link will then be sent for witness statements to be filled in. The conclusion of an investigation will be email back on the same thread as per our new safeguarding reporting process.
Safeguarding concerns from coaches will now be reported on CPOMS - our new safeguarding system. Introductory training for this will take place during the AGM at the start of September.
