At Maypole F.C, we are more than just a football club -we are a community committed to developing both players and coaches across Birmingham and the surrounding areas.

Our coaching team is made up of dedicated, passionate individuals who are continually developing their knowledge and skills to deliver the best possible experience for every player. We firmly believe that better coaches create better environments, and this sits at the heart of everything we do.

Every manager within our 2 Star Accredited club is FA qualified, with a couple of coaches holding UEFA C and UEFA B Licences. As a club, we place a strong emphasis on supporting and developing our coaches, providing opportunities, guidance, and encouragement for them to progress along their coaching journey.

During the 2025/26 season, 10 of our coaches achieved FA coaching qualifications, highlighting our commitment to continuous improvement and raising standards across the club. We actively encourage all coaches to learn, reflect, and grow - ensuring that our players benefit from modern, engaging, and high-quality coaching.

While developing players is important, we recognise that our coaches are at the forefront of that development. By investing in them, we create a positive, structured, and inspiring environment where every player can thrive.
